Has any fly-tipper been brought to justice?

17 January, 2019

‘As far as I can ascertain Camden Council has never prosecuted anyone for fly-tipping’

• REGARDING the dumping of Christmas trees (Dumping old Christmas trees is so arrogant, January 10), fly-tipping can lead to a £200 fine but despite piles of business, household, builders’ rubbish, being dumped daily on the pavements, as far as I can ascertain Camden Council has never prosecuted anyone for fly-tipping.

I wish they would be pro active in dealing with it so that pedestrians can walk in a straight line instead of navigating around rubbish. And why are the pavements littered with large black household bins and green recycle bins?

They are not street furniture but households just can’t be bothered to return them to their own properties after they have been emptied. An eye-sore.
