In-form Arsenal set for Toffees test

15 November, 2018 — By Steve Barnett

ARSENAL will be looking to make it eight wins out of eight on Sunday when they travel to Southport to take on Everton in the Women’s Super League.

One thing is for sure, the game won’t be refereed by David McNamara, who has been suspended for three weeks for deciding a league kick-off with a game of rock, paper, scissors. After leaving his coin in the dressing room, McNamara opted to use the classic game to decide who was going to start the match between Manchester City and Reading on October 26.

A coin toss is a requirement under the laws of the game. The FA said McNamara was “not acting in the best interests of the game.”
