POLICE are investigating a suspected hate crime after a homophobic attack.
Two men who were holding hands were subjected to an unprovoked assault close to the National Theatre in Southwark.
The victims, aged 28 and 31, suffered facial injuries and bruising in the daylight assault at 2.30pm on January 1.
Met officers this week released an image of three of the four suspects they are trying to track down.
The suspects are all described as white, aged in their mid-20s and wearing hooded tops. They left in the direction of the OXO Tower.
